Movie:Anonymous
Anonymous, the best movie i have seen this year. I love it so. Artisticly, visually, concetually brilliant. You most definatly should rent this or watch it online at 1channel.ch.
"Anonymous: A political thriller advancing the theory that it was in fact Edward De Vere, Earl of Oxford who penned Shakespeare's plays; set against the backdrop of the succession of Queen Elizabeth I, and the Essex Rebellion against her."- 1channel.ch

Ringling College Portfolio Day!
So, I went to the Ringling College of Arts in Sarasota Fl. yesterday. It was a long day. Me, my art teacher and her husband, along with another student went to the college for the portfolio review day. I got a lot of good reviews and ideas from the professors. One Fine Art College wanted me to go to there art program in Tuscany Italy. Sounds pretty cool. Below is a link to the website so you can plan your trip next year. Hope we bump into each other!

OK, so on goodreads.com, you can store the books you've read and keep track of the ones you want to read. Well, you also can take trivia on books you've read. this was one of my favorite questions so far. Truly, i wanted to choose B. Its so eloquent. But i knew what the real answer was.
In Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass how does the Hatter answer the riddle, "Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

A New Painting!
No, this is not a newly finished piece, but it is new to the website. It is titled: Silent Ballroom, and is fashioned after the old drawing used to showcase women's clothing in the olden days. Make sure to rate it below, and comment as well.

Embracing Our Differnces
We are all so different in this world. To showcase this, my art class got the idea to each decorate a box with images, paintings, and sculptures that represent us, and or the topic of Embracing Our Differences. It was quite convenient considering that there is a contest happening in Sarasota Fl. based on this topic. The winners for the best concept's art will be blown up to a huge billboard in the park.
These are a few of the photos taken today. The final collage will be showcased when finished.

Trees are the Kindest Thing I Know
This is by far my favorite poem ever written.
Trees
by Harry Behn
Trees are the kindest things I know,
They do no harm, they simply grow
And spread a shade for sleepy cows,
And gather birds among their bows.
They give us fruit in leaves above,
And wood to make our houses of,
And leaves to burn on Halloween
And in the Spring new buds of green.
They are first when day's begun
To tough the beams of morning sun,
They are the last to hold the light
When evening changes into night.
And when a moon floats on the sky
They hum a drowsy lullaby
Of sleepy children long ago...
Trees are the kindest things I know.
