Sculpture in Progess: update

I have now completed my sculpture of the the foot. It has truly turned out wonderfully and exactly as i had imagined. I will be continuing with this concept to create an optimistic concept and a whole collection with the same motivation. To show the inter workings of the human figure. However not so detailed to the point of confusion; but simply as to reflect the viewer's true gift of imagination. Too often artists mistake there viewers for fools and ones without imagination. Unfilled gaps allows the human mind to figure out what is known. To allow the viewer to become part of the arts creation. Yet, to take it for its simplicity. A sculpture with unlimited detail is noble and beautiful indeed, great skill is needed for such work. Though, the viewers mind is not engaged and is shown what 'is' and not aloud to perceive what 'might' be. It is the same question as to why we watch TV. Not to have to think. For the story to be layed out infront of us. Though when do we become engrosed in the television program? When we become uninvolved, we become uninterested. I strive to constantly keep my audience interested.
